Booking Policies

 Deposits

All bookings for new clients, and all services over two hours, must be confirmed with a booking deposit prior to service provision.

For new clients, all cuts require a $50 deposit and all colour services require a $100 deposit. For appointments over two hours, the booking deposit amount will be dependent on services booked.

All booking deposits will be credited towards your services on the day.

Booking deposits are fully refundable for cancellations with minimum 48 hours notice. See below for more information on cancellation notice periods.

 Due to our limited availability, all tentative holds that have not been secured with a deposit within the standard hold window of 48 hours, will be released and made available to new enquiries.

 

Reschedule, late notice + no shows

Any confirmed bookings that are rescheduled or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit their booking deposit.

If this occurs, we will also require an increased booking deposit of $150 to confirm a future appointment time.

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make it to your booking. However, because our team have already dedicated the time to your appointment, our little salon depends on clients attending their booked services.

No shows are considered to be a cancellation within this policy and the above terms will apply.

 

After Hours Cancellations

Please note: Phone calls, SMS, emails and social media messages are attended from 8am - 6pm.

 Contact regarding bookings should be made prior to 6pm directly with reception.

If cancellations or booking changes are submitted after 6pm by email, voicemail or DM, the notice period will begin at 9am the following morning.

If this notice period falls less than 48 hours prior to your booking, the booking deposit will be forfeited as per our cancellation policy.

 

Late Arrivals

Please always allow ample time for traffic and parking, especially on busy days such as Friday and Saturday.

Should you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, our schedule may not allow for the entire booked service to be completed.

In the event of a late arrival, while we will always make our best effort to accommodate the change, however if we are fully booked unfortunately we may be unable to proceed with your appointment.

In this case, cancellation terms will apply.

 

Refunds, Redos and Change of Mind

We invest time at the beginning of each appointment to provide:

-       A personalised consultation to understand your desired look, unique hair chemistry and history.

-       A realistic and honest appraisal of how and if your desired outcome can be achieved in the current appointment time, or if it will need multiple visits.

-       An exact quote for the agreed upon service/s before starting.

 For this reason, we do not offer refunds on hair services.

 If you have any concerns or feel that the agreed upon service was not provided, we are happy to discuss this with you within 7 days of your appointment to explore possible solutions.

However, change of mind regarding the colour chosen during your consultation is not considered a re-do. Any changes or additional services will be charged.

 Quotes provided via phone, SMS, email and social media messages are rough estimates only, as we cannot fully assess your needs until an in-person consultation is completed.

We will always provide exact quotes during in-person consultations.

Consultations can be completed at the beginning of your appointment or prior to booking if you visit us in the salon.  

Any change or exemption to our policies indicated by a staff member, are on a case-by-case basis and only apply to the appointment in concern, not future appointments. Any changes or exemptions to policy only apply if provided in-writing to the client.
